The article compares the weather in Berlin and Washington DC.....uhhhmmmm...Berlin is MUCH FURTHER NORTH than DC....think "the southern tip of Hudson Bay" further. DC is along the LAT of Northern Algeria or Southern Tip of Spain.

It means that MOST of these United States are geographically the SAME as the Meditteranean....It's WARM there....that's why most of you complaining candy-asses go on VACATION there.
MOST of the countries in Europe are along the same LAT (35 to 45) as Colorado to Southern Canada (and in a lot of those States/Provinces people don't even HAVE A/C.
