BULL PUCKS! This study was conducted IN 1993!!! (Before the NICS system was put in place). The study was based on responses from 251 people. OK...251 people is NOT "40%". THIS IS A LIE! Also, if you REALLY look at the study, it's 36% and they are TRANSFERS...as in....my grandfather GAVE ME his shotgun as a christmas present: TRANSFERS is NOT PURCHASES

A comment made by someone who 1) has never been to a gunshow in the last 20 years...if ever, and 2) is addressing a LIV who has never been to a gunshow in the last 20 years....if ever. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't fall for this BULL PUCK!...you have to go thru a dealer at a gunshow to purchase a FIREARM (not a T-shirt...which is another thing that JOURNALISTS like to "add" to their "purchases at a gun show" stories) and the dealer WILL DO A BACKGROUND CHECK ON YOU.
--- another thing that POLY-TICK-shuns will throw out is "30,000" gun deaths per year in the US. ok.....some numbers on this little number. They are INCLUDING SUICIDES (20,000) in these numbers. The rest are almost exclusively criminal and gang shootings, primarily in Chicago, L.A., Detroit, D.C., Phily, and NYC. What do these cities have in common: Hmmm.....let's see....oh yeah....THEY HAVE STRICT GUN CONTROL FOR LAW-ABIDING CITIZENS in place....you know....those things the POLYTICKshuns are trying to push more of on us.
