Let's start with the CDC's number of "gun related deaths" in 2010 (this is what the PolyTickShuns and Anti's use) .... 31,672....remember....these are numbers from the CDC
Let's dig a little into the breakdown of those shall we?
19392 Suicides (and we all know that the ONLY WAY you kill yourself is with a gun, right?...and guns CAUSE Suicide.....right?)
201 Justifiable Homicides (for those of you ANTIs..that is good guy killing bad guy for DEFENSE instead of saying "pweese mista bad guy, dont kill me with your butta knife!"
343 Justifiable Police Shootings (again, good guy popping bad guy = no more bad guy)
851 Accidents (ANTI's LOVE to use these......answer me this Mr Smarty....how many "DROWNING ACCIDENT" deaths are there in the US every year....hmmmm, about 3500 per year [CDC data]...we need to BAN DiHydrogen Monoxide, right?)
8880 Gang related deaths by guns.....now...we KNOW that GangBangers have LEGALLY PURCHASED guns and ONLY use them to defend themselves....right?....there COULDN'T be any other reason for this RIGHT?
So we get 31672 - (19392+201+343+851+8880=29667) = 2005
Sooooooooooo..........in a country with a population of about 313 MILLION PEOPLE....we have a REAL NUMBER of 2005 "gun deaths". Let's do some basic statistics.....that means that 0.0000064 percent of the population is a CRISIS, and WE HAVE TO DO IT FOR THE CHILDREN!!
.........now explain to me again WHY I, as a legal gun owner SHOULDN'T HAVE A GUN????
